This was our last morning in our
lovely Rovinj apartment and as we’re super organised we just had to get up, get
ready and then, get out. We headed to the local bus station and boarded the 2.5
hour bus to Rijeka. When we arrived it took a while to
find our hostel and while everything seemed fine at first, it didn’t take long
for me to realise that staying in the middle of the city in a tiny hostel with
no air-conditioning isn’t exactly ideal.
We were also pretty exhausted so we
took a quick walk around, had a cheeky McDonalds and read some more Harry
Potter. Rijeka seems nice enough but it’s a city and while we probably should
be seeing the sights, we just couldn’t be bothered!
